Meet the Artist
As an artist born and raised in Kazakhstan, I discovered my love for drawing and painting at a young age. I began taking art classes when I was nine years old, nurturing my passion for the arts. After completing my secondary education, I pursued higher education at the East Kazakhstan Technical State University, where I obtained a bachelor's degree in architecture.
In 2008, I started drawing caricatures, which eventually became my full-time job. However, I never abandoned other forms of art that I am passionate about, including painting various subjects such as flowers, birds, architecture and landscapes.
Through my dedication to my craft, I have achieved success and recognition, and my work has undoubtedly brought joy and beauty to those who have seen it. My art is an expression of my passion for the beauty of the world around us, and I hope that it inspires others to see and appreciate that beauty as well.
And I still do caricatures because I love doing it!
The Birth of MaxT Art
This is where the story of MaxT Art began! In this house. At this desk. On this PC. The time came for me to spread my artistic wings and step outside my comfort zone of casual painting and video games. I filed the paperwork to form an LLC and applied for a spot at the Charleston City Market. January 21, 2020, marked the Birth Day of MaxT Art!
What started at that desk has grown into a passionate celebration of the Lowcountry. Today, every piece in my collection captures the spirit of the Holy City, from the distinct character of our local bird species, to the timeless charm of Charleston’s historic houses and iconic landmarks.
Quality Craftsmanship
Because my work is meant to be cherished for generations, I am uncompromising when it comes to my materials. I work in rich gouache, watercolor, and ink. Every giclée print is crafted on professional-grade, 300 gsm 100% cotton rag paper for archival quality designed to bring a lasting piece of South Carolina's history and natural beauty into your home.
Thank you for visiting my website, and I hope you enjoy my artwork as much as I enjoy creating it.
